Blue Sparrow Coffee - neighborhood coffee shop, featuring coffee roasters from around the world including both US and Europe brands. They also have nitro cold brew, Japanese iced coffee and a lots of vegan options.

Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters - founder and co-owner Andy Sprenger, a two-time U.S. Brewers Cup champion and certified Q Grader—a distinction comparable to a Master Sommelier—brings his expertise to every detail of this direct-trade roastery and tasting room.

Little Owl Coffee - the place delivers a true farm-to-cup experience. Guests can enjoy expertly crafted house roasts in classic forms, from cold brews and cortados to Americanos and beyond.

Michelin places

Brutø (⭐) - Chef Byron Gomez leads this restaurant with a strong focus on local and seasonal ingredients, including a dedicated fermentation program that enhances both grains and produce. Cooking over an open hearth adds depth to every dish on the tasting menu, which blends Japanese and Nordic influences.

Alma Fonda Fina (⭐) - for a fans of mexican food. The menu is full of standout dishes, from crispy pork belly carnitas on a sourdough flour tortilla to agave-roasted sweet potato with nutty salsa matcha and creamy whipped requesón.

And a couple of "Bib Gourmand" places, offering a "exceptionally good food at moderate prices":

MAKfam - The spot pays homage to the owners’ Chinese American roots, shaped by their upbringing in immigrant restaurant families. The compact menu highlights takeout favorites with a thoughtful touch, from crispy fried crab and cheese wontons to hand-shaped chicken and chive potstickers.

Tavernetta - this Italian menu highlights classics from various regions with a refreshingly simple approach. Each dish is carefully prepared, like the crostini primavera—sourdough topped with creamy stracciatella, heritage English peas, and fresh spring greens. The spaghetti all’amatriciana, rich with guanciale, tomato, and pecorino romano, is deeply satisfying. And for a perfect finish, the timeless tiramisu speaks for itself.

Parties

Ski resorts

Winter Park - rated # 1Family Friendly in North America by On The Snow website, it has 3000 acres of terrain and only 60 miles from Denver. Also, great for intermediates.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area - best suited for advanced riders it's a small resort near Denver. Some of the highest skiable terrain in North America.

Loveland Ski Area - one of the first resorts to open every season, located 53 miles west of Denver. Loveland boasts uncrowded slopes, impressive terrain, free close-in parking, and one of the longest seasons, running from October through at least May.
